RE: [RC] [RC] Weat hay - Ranelle RubinJamie,I am feeding a Beardless Wheat, Beardless Barley, and Red Oat mix that out here in CA is called 3-Way Forage mix. It is 1/4 of my horses' diet. Just be sure it is "beardless" so the sticker part of the wheat is genetically absent. I know we had to really go on a hay search this year to get the mix we wanted at a reasonable price. Looking at the state's hay cooperative website helped us alot.
