Re: [RC] Hi Tie alteration - Lysane CreeI did not get the bungee attachment with mine as the company asked if I was going to use it (they know that many people alter the hi-tie to use without the bungee) and then took some $ off the price since I said I wasn't going to . So far I have I tied my cotton lead directly to the hi-tie and it is more than long enough to give my horse enough rope without her getting tangled. I keep several spares should I ever need to cut a rope or replace one for whatever reason. My mare is good at tieing and doesn't pull back, but at the last ride I went to it was quite windy and about 10 minutes after arriving and tieing her there, she spooked and much to her surprise and mine the cotton lead snapped, up near the hi-tie. I just bought those leads at the beginning of the season and only use them on the ties so they are not old but it was reassuring to see that they can snap when necessary (although this time, it wasn't that necessary lol). Luckily for me she
has "ground tie" training and when the rope snapped she backed up dragging the lead and looking very confused, but she stayed and did not run :) Lysane Tx Trigger <txtrigger@xxxxxxxxx> wrote:
