Title: RE: [RC] Uzes - Young Horses Finals

91 finishers on 167 starters; many eliminations at the finish. Speed ranging from 16.29 to 12.55kph... This is a real race. I'm looks like the preservation of the young horse stops at Uzes.

15 ranked 'elite' ; 29 ranked 'excellent'  ; 29 'tres bon' ; 12 'bon' 

among the 15 'elite', nine of them didn't reach 17kph but nevertheless got the maximum points. Going very fast is not always the best way, but getting a horse with a fast recovering and a nice trotting action brings you to the 'elite'.

Too bad Napoleon didn't hang around longer in Egypt. The flat races here are
funded by the Gulf Arabs for the most part and no one funds anything for
bringing along young horses.
