So sorry to hear about your horse! I've looked at your site many times - 
your horses are beautiful and I am sure they carry a bit of your heart with 
them no matter where they go. You have my deepest sympathies. No, I have no 
intention of risking my horses. I just wondered if there was some way to 
make it safe - something that a rookie like me just wasn't aware of. But I 
would never deliberately put my horses at risk just to go riding on the ice.
