[RC] Sore Tendon-but no lameness - Denise Gilseth

Are there any vets out there that could explain why a horse would be very tender when the tendon running down the back of his front leg is palpated, but no lameness?? Some swelling, but no lameness? I'm having the vet out tomorrow to check this, but am very curious about it. Thanks for any input. Denise
