I saw this 12' short wall 2006 for sale for $49,625 with free nationwide delivery. There's also a 2' shorter model 2005 for $32K. I can't really comment on your questions, but thought that these webpages may help you see what kind of space/what you get for what you are trying to decide on. These are 8' wide trailers. If you need more space without adding length, you may check on a slide out (like the RV's have), but watch the weight. I would be careful to stay within the weight rating of your truck.
