I believe I would agree with
this. How about automatic renewal via credit card, unless the member
otherwise specified? A member could sign up with auto-renewal
instructions, but could cancel this with advance notice. (Or was this already
suggested?)
I belong to another breed association and
we've found that lifetime membership really doesn't make money for the
organization over the long run. Yearly memberships are steady income for
any organization.
