RE: [RC] Court Rules on Horse Slaughter in Texas - Kristen A FisherThis is anything but a done deal. The plants have been operating forever REGARDLESS of the law stating that horse slaughter is illegal in Texas. Whether this latest ruling will actually be *enforced* [as the old law was never enforced] remains to be seen. I would guess will drag out in the courts even longer as the attorney for the plants [per the Dallas Morning New s on Sunday] plans to appeal the ruling. -----Original Message----- From: ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ridecamp-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Sherry Brunkhardt Sent: Monday, January 22, 2007 11:04 PM To: ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [RC] Court Rules on Horse Slaughter in Texas - News - MSNBC.com Just got this from a friend in Texas.
