Has anyone changed how their Ortho-Flex Patriot
billets are set up, to have them back a tad further than they came from the
factory? Any pictures someone could send me on what was done?
Thanks,
Jonni
I am guessing your billets are sewn onto the flaps of the saddle. They are
not using that kind of rigging anymore as it wasn't very precise. Now they are
using the dropped yoke with several options as to how far up or back you want to
place your girth. It is actually attached to the tree of the saddle, as it
should be instead of the leather flaps. I just had 2 saddles redone at the
factory but I suppose any saddle maker can do that.
Contact Ortho-flex and they will send you pictures. Customer service is
100% better than it was years ago.
