Re: [RC] FW: [RC] head trauma/injury study-okay now I'm on my soapbox - Horseraser

My father just retired from Kawasaki Motors (the oldest employee for over 40 years, they called him "The Samurai") and was their accident re constructionist for 20 of those years. One thing he told me is that horse riders have 33% more accidents than motorcyclists. I have been on motorcycles all my life and the one thing that my father taught me(by example with pictures) is to ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET. PERIOD!  There was no discussion about it at all. I have been given  many helmets from Kawasaki and seen so many "fatals" To boot, my ex husband is also a re constructionist with a police department and has shown me the damage to the brain when it is exposed. Why would this even be an issue? Think about the race car driver Dale Earnhart who would not wear a recommended restraint and now it is common practice. I say get your ego out of your decisions... okay I'm off my soapbox for now

Live your dreams now, to any degree that you can. With every purchase. Every decision. Every hello and goodbye. Every assignment. Every conversation. Every meal. Every morning, afternoon and evening. And never, ever, ever look back.

Reframe every thought, word, and deed from the perspective of the person you've always dreamed you'd be, as if your life was already as you've always dreamed it would be. Die to yesterday's illusions and be reborn to the truth of your vision.
