[RC] FW: GTSFHR - Becki Jackson





Anna wrote that she was surprised when the Ride Coordinator announced to the
group that she would ride at the back of the pack, and NOT be competing.
Well, those of us in the group who heard this announced foolishly BELIEVED
that what the RC said would be true.  Silly us, nothing he had  promised
thus far had happened.  Imagine our surprise when Anna finished first and
stood for BC.  The RC should have told the group what the situation was as
MANY people were pretty upset when she finished first.  It was not until the
last day when I went and asked the steward that it was explained to me.
Rules changed hourly at this event, it was the blind leading the dumb
leading the stupid.  Riders were sent out the last day with NO MAPS.  Many
got lost and did extra miles.  I could go on and on, but lack the time and
energy to beat a dead horse.
