Re: [RC] [AERCMembersForum] Draft Agenda for the AERC Sept 29 Mid-yearmeeting - Keith KiblerMichaelAs someone that is in only their 2nd year of aerc, I have brought in two riders this year and hve 3 others lined up for next year, assuming they follow through. I would suggest one goal might be to find ways of attracting new riders from avenues not traditionally from aerc/endurance traditional backgrounds. In my case, and the case of all those I just mentioned, that would be gaited riders. There sure arent many gaited riders doing 50's let along Ld's in my area and their sure are alot of gaited riders in the midwest. I commonly here from the gaited riders "You do what with your horses?" At rides I hear " Is that an arabian?" I believe the gaited community is one tremendously untaped market and I would bet their are others. Just a thought.
