AERC is not (currently) that proactive. AERC sanctions rides (and does some education, as a bit of focus on trails and on records keeping). Ride Managers (or the "Organizing Committee" - OC as they are known in some circles) select/hire the vets and insure that treatment is available at the rides. It is the individuals who runt these events? that are covering your needs. The AERC really isn't that proactive where the horseshoe hits the trail. maybe it should be - maybe it might move more in the direction of more structured organizations in certification of officials and licensing of OCs, but to imply that AERC is there already is a wayBigStreatch I'm afraid.
