Re: [RC] Slide in Pick-up Camper - Clarence NunnFor the last 10 years we have had a 91/2 foot camper for the 20 years befor that we had a 8 foot one. Realy like the room, the bath/shower, heater, hot water and storage. No problem pulling a 4-horse loaded trailer with the 91/2 foot. Make sure you have at least a 3/4 tonn pick-up with extra suspension. Having the extension built on the trailer tongue is the best way to go with that. We put 2 extra feet and it makes turning in tight places real easy.
