Re: [RC] AERC re: Dr. Q's comments - Barbara McCraryI was on the AERC board for 20 years...too long, I'm sure. It was a demanding job. I would suggest anyone who is critical of the operation of the board run for a position there and find out for themselves what goes on. And If they don't like how it's being run, then do something to help make changes rather than just criticize without really knowing. A lot of people complain, yet do not contact their representatives and make suggestions. AERC board, being smaller, is a whole lot more approachable than the U.S. government. This reminds me of people who criticize ride management, yet will not step forward to manage a ride themselves. As a member I am concerned about the current direction of the AERC. If it doesn't turn around - I just may be joining you at some future date. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
