Stories like this can grow legs and get pretty ugly pretty fast. Yes I 
do fear that endurance riding might end up with a black eye on this one. 
It would be nice if it were balanced with some background of what 
endurance riding is - before the accident is discussed. But given the 20 
second sound bites that local TV news has become I doubt this will happen.
