Thanks for the ride story. Hmmmm? No men finished the ride? Dang!  Ishould have 
been there:).. I really wanted to, but part of the payback to my wife for 
letting me ride the OD And Tevis was that we would go to Italy. So instead of 
getting to ride 100 miles of hills in the heat, I had to hang out at the beach 
on the Italian  Riviara.   Heck, I even suggested we take an 18 hour train ride 
to Portugal to help crew for Darolyn Butler at the European Championships, and 
my wife wasn't interested...Then when I mentioned that if we stayed another 
week, there is a ride in Tuscany, and maybe I could  find a horse to ride, that 
didn't work either:) 
 
Did Ron Chapman ride? Did he try the 100? He told me  that the trail there was 
really pretty.
