Well, out of 8,000+ miles of endurance competition, I imagine less than 1,000 miles of that had a treatment vet?separate from the regular ride vet.? Guess that means I don't care about my horse.

While I'm with you on the vet checks, though I think it's less risky to have
them more often, I can't see _requiring_ them at some set distance, I don't
think it's in anyone's interest to not have a treatment vet. I don't think
I've ever seen a ride in the NW without one. The something precious and
irreplaceable that I'm concerned about is named Laser.
