[RC] Endurance Dogs - Kathleen A. CrothersI've had Black Standard Poodles for longer than I've been doing endurance and would hate to be without them. All of them have gone on conditioning rides as long as their age would allow. I had one who hated to be left behind and would try anything to get loose so she could join my ride. She was good in camp on rides though. Mine have all been very well behaved and quiet in the house and they don't shed. The only drawback is that they do need clipped every 6 weeks or so. It has gotten so expensive to have it done I now do it myself. After having standard poodles for so many years I don't know if I could get used to another breed. I got two of mine as resuces and would do that again if it was time to get another one. Happy Trails, Kathy Crothers and Poodle Heidi (thanks for the hair cut, Mom, it makes me feel young again) =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
