[RC] Horse boots/Dallmer clog - heidi larson

I will be trying this boot tomorrow on our gelding, rears
only as he has front shoes on.  This is the combi clog that
you can put your own shoe on the bottom (I'm using a ground
control plastic shoe) and screws right into the "frame" of
the clog.  I will be reporting back how we like this.  From
just handling it, I'm very impressed and ahd hoping that
it's easy to put on, and we have no rubbing problems.  I'll
let you all know!

  After re-selling (at a loss of course)  yet another
pair of boots that 
weren't quite right for my horse, I told the buyer that
it would sure be a 
lot easier if we could take the horse to the shoe store
and try on different 
boots to see what works, before we buy.  
  I think I've got it narrowed down to size 2 Bares with
the easy-up buckle 
conversion.  Size 3 Bares wouldn't go on his feet with
the bungee installed 
tight enough, and with the easy-up buckle the seem a
little bit too big.  
Waiting for the size two boots and the buckle kit to
arrive...  I must be 
really bad at measuring because I've bought too-big Old
Macs, too-big Simple 
Boots...   and the Boas I had should have been the right
size for this horse 
but I couldn't get them on his feet, was afraid if I got
the hammer to pound 
them on then I'd never get them off again!
