Re: [RC] [RC] riding with a scar - Maryanne GabbaniMy first piece of advice would be to let it heal. You won't be doing yourself a favour by rushing things. Would you do that to your horse? To help the scar, I'd offer A&D ointment, most commonly found in the baby section of your local drugstore. I import large tubs of the stuff to Egypt whenever I have visitors because we use it on the frequent bangs and gashes that a bunch of enthusiastic young geldings can give each other while playing in the paddock. Really helps healing and it's cheap. Looks like a gun shot wound because my stitches pulled out twice So, it had to pack it and let it heal open. It is still stiff and tender. Any ideas on how to help it soften up and/or heal nicely? -- Maryanne Stroud Gabbani msgabbani@xxxxxxxxx Egypt Face to Face www.alsorat.com Weblogs: Living In Egypt miloflamingo.blogspot.com Cairo/Giza Daily Photo cairogizadailyphoto.blogspot.com Turn Right At The Sarcophagus haramlik.blogspot.com Photos of Egypt: http://www.flickr.com/photos/livinginegypt/
