Re: [RC] I am soooo sick of saddles - heidi larsonNot sure what type of saddle you're looking for (western style, aussie, english, endurance) but I have nothing but good things to say about my Free and Easy saddle. Ash continually gets A's for his back and since I have lower back problems (few broken vertebrae tips lower back) this has been the only saddle that works for both of us. It totally puts my legs in the correct position without me having to force them there. I think they may also have a loaner to try as well. And you can adjust as the horse changes say young horse to an older horse or as they gain or lose weight. heidi and Kalasha --- Robert R <boxrnr@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Anyone else on the great elusive good-fitting saddle hunt? I thought I found a keeper yesterday. I brought home a Timberline to demo. I thought it looked like a great fit. My horse moved really, really well in it. Went for a short 5 mile jaunt this morning and the sweat marks looks great. No ouchy spots or rubs. I just came in from his evening meal and he is so sore, I can't even brush his back!! ARGHHH. So tomorrow, I am driving 2 hours one way to pick up and try yet again another saddle. I am strongly leaning towards sawing the horn off my wife's saddle and making her go find another one!!
