[RC] Shore to shore or Keweenaw rides in 2008? - Lynn WhiteAnybody have a horse that they would like ridden on
either of these rides? I don't even know if the
Keweenaw ride is going to be held in 2008, but it
never hurts to ask.
I live in Idaho and my parents live in Detroit. I
like to visit them once or twice a year. I was
wondering if there was anyone out there that "needed"
someone to put miles on a horse for them. I can pay
the entry fee, all you need to do is get your horse to
the ride. What I can do is let you ride my horse on a
ride here in Idaho in exchange. My mare is kinda
difficult at ride starts, but once she settles down
she's great. She's not for newbies though.
I am not a "racer" but I am not a turtle rider either.
If you want me to Turtle a ride I would be happy to do
that. But I won't race a horse unless it is my own.
I am not horsewoman enough to deal with your
fire-breathing dragon, but I can handle just about any
horse providing they don't spook at every rock or
acorn. I just like to ride and would like to get some
experience in places other than Idaho. Anyway, since
both these rides are over a year away I figured that
if anyone had similar inclinations we could work
something out.
