As long as she isn't late with her board payments,
sounds like a sweet deal to me.
I've tried several times to ride with the
paralytics (did I just type that) but around here, they never ride--only ask
their horse if it is ok to ride and lo and behold, the horses always seem
to say no. So they spend 45 minutes getting ready to ride and then give
up. Oh well. Their money, not mine. I also work a team of
draft horses for mowing hay and hauling wood. A natural horseman once
asked me if they liked and wanted to haul heavy stuff around. My answer
didn't go over well, which was "I don't know. It never occurred to me to
ask them. I am assuming they will want to eat in December and this is part
of the deal".
she'll never change, and seems very happy to do
what the horses want to do when THEY want to do it! - LP
