Re: [RC] [RC] Horse with attitude... - jamie wardDoes anybody else get the "look" because they are out riding again the same or at least the next day after our falls. (usually on the same horse that dumped us) My parents(and non horse friends) especially my dad (who is always suggesting i wear motorcycle protective gear and has gone as far as buying me some) give me a look that suggest Ive lost the better part of my brain when i show them a bruise or tell them about my "adventures" Heck after my fall last Thursday my mom called to see how i was feeling on Fri and on sat when she called to check on me i was out riding. She was like "i figured you'd at least take a week or two off so you could heal"in a voice that said if it were up to me I'd sell that horse and replace it with one who cant do anything but walk slowly. (gotta love parents) "nope got a endurance ride next weekend mom" well i will say in her defense it was a bad fall i dented my helmet my left arm is a lovely shade of blueish blackish Violet my back is scraped up and i couldn't remember how i got on the ground and had a migraine from hell but a few Advil and i got back on and finished my "fun" ride hate to see her reaction if she knew that ;-)Beth Walker <bwalker2@xxxxxxx> wrote: This is pretty close to most of my experience, as well.
