Re: [RC] Horse Quencher? - Beth WalkerI haven't, but it looked interesting, so I've ordered some samples. I can let you know how that goes. Their big thing is that horses like to drink it. My fellow is not really good at drinking, especially on short rides, so I'll give you a report. :)They have a web site: www.horsequencher.com It has a video, and you can order a tub, a box of 10 single servings, or individual sample packs. They have flavors of Apple, Peppermint, Root Beer and Butterscotch. Ingredients were listed in the video, but I can't remember all of them. I remember salt, molasses, and some various grains, beet pulp, I think some soy bean oil -- it goes past kind of quick, so I didn't get the whole list. They have some contact info, so I sent off asking for a list of ingredients. It doesn't sound like "electrolytes" per se, but it does contain salt. I have also tried "Equi-Ade", from HotPony Products. That was OK - he did drink it better than plain water -- not great, but better. However, it contains sodium bicarbonate. Everything I've heard about elytes for endurance horses says to stay away for sodium bicarbonate, so I probably won't be getting more of it.
