Confusing 'loose' & 'liberty' Re: [RC] Loose horses/ Parelli - Elizabeth ChaseAmen, Kathy, Amen.... The horse Angie mentioned was not at liberty, it was just loose, and inappropriately so. The owner obviously did not understand the concept. How can I tell? A horse at liberty will behave as if the halter and line were attached, attentive to the human, and would have traveled with her riding the other horse as if it were being ponied. Of course, a wise person would have had the line on in the situation as described by Angie. Let's remember to separate the concepts of 'liberty' and 'loose'. I think that there are a lot of people that misunderstand what the Parelli system is about, including those that are subscribing to it. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Luggage?
