RE: [RC] Horse Insurance - Kristen A FisherI have used Equisure for years with mortality and major medical - and the diagnostics for both my "incidents" were covered [nasal pharyngitis and stifle issue]. They paid exactly what they said they would pay and have paid more than the policy actually cost. I compared them this year to Jarvis and while the coverages differed slightly, the prices did not, so I stuck with Equisure. Any recommendations on insurance companies? I currently have mortality + major medical on mine, but I am thinking about switching companies. My current policy doesn't say anything about covering diagnostic or therapeutic expenses, which can be expensive. The two companies I'm looking at right now are American Equine Insurance Group and Markel Insurance. Of course, trying to compare policies is a real treat.... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
