greetings all.. have been perusing the archives on winter riding  
since we're here in montana.. Sigh , if i could find the magic cure  
for warm hands .. i'd be perfectly toasty. Aside from those serious  
winds, it's quite great.  But i digress.  The newbie question for the  
week is geared more for the horse... what's the concensus on doing  
long rides?  Or do most folks keep it short and sweet.
