Unlike Angie, I really like the natural sponges - at least for a 
"throwing sponge.". They hold a lot more water so you can use a smaller 
sponge and get the same water load as a bigger synthetic sponge. The 
trick with any sponge is if you throw them down on a puddle or in a 
creek bone dry - they will float. Before you start out preload them so 
they will be a little wet and then they will sink righ off.
