[RC] Minerals/Salt...Susan G?? - rides2far@xxxxxxxx

My ponies go thru salt on a normal basis...I think.  But they inhale the 
minerals.  I don't mean the ones that are 99.9% salt >>either.  These are 
the soft mineral blocks, and are all minerals


I don't believe those are all minerals...I think there's something horses love 
to EAT that's bonding them into the block form. I bought one of those blocks 
once and they ate the whole thing in a few days like it was candy...but I have 
also offered free choice mineral supplement and they weren't interested.  Susan 
G...what do you say?
