We have 58 acres here in Decatur TX. Have tried to
come up with a name since we arrived in 2000, but nothing really sticks. We do
grow some hay, but do not reproduce any critters. Having all Arabian geldings,
we have joked it would be amusing to work that fact into the name. The one that
almost made us have a sign made was from the following. "Eighter from
Decatur" is a term used in gambling/dice. Our cities saying has been "Eighter
from Decatur, County seat of Wise". So, we thought it very amusing to call
our place:
8R Arabians
But not everyone has the same twisted humor as we
do. ;-)
