[RC] Genessee - mateef

If you've ever thought about doing the Genessee ride, by all means DO!  It is the most beautiful trail. Well marked, absolutely wonderful footing and spectacular scenery. I took my 11 year old mare for her first 50 mile endurance ride and we completed 30 of those gorgeous miles before the heat got to her.  If she had a few less pounds on her, it might not have been a factor. OK, many less pounds for those of you who saw her.  She had a great time, ears up and eager the whole time. She was really enjoying herself. 

Management, as always, was terrific. My hat's off to Alex and Cia Reis for hosting this ride. I'll be back.
