[RC] Renegades - kathy . mayedaSomeone was asking about getting Renegades last week....
One of the hoofgrooms at the barn I moved to last March (Milpitas, CA) is one of only two hoof trimmers that sell the Renegades. I mentioned this to a friend and she asked me to get a pair for her.
It took several weeks to get coordinated to get the order in, and it took me several more weeks to get them because of a slow down in production due to expanding their facility, according to this hoof trimmer. They also have to beef up the material for endurance riders because otherwise they have "blowouts". Then they are discontinuing the color I wanted because it wasn't color fast. And the hoof trimmer was not real great in returning my calls about the order either.
The hoof trimmer will no longer sell to anyone except those she trims for, and then I found out that she's moving out of the area anyway - to where I don't know. It sounds like that there are some "user education" issues with the hoof boots.
On the other had, it sounds like they are backing up their product and making fixes via the hoof trimmers. But if you can't find your hoof trimmer anymore, then I don't know what recourse you have! No literature, no address, no contact no., no written guarantee.
So if I were you, I wouldn't waste any time wanting them for awhile. If and when they work out their production bugs, I'm sure that their website will be updated so that they can actually sell some.
