RE: [RC] FW: VT100 Ride Story -- thanks John! - JeanI was one of those timers at the first 10 minute stop and go (and some others as well as Pulse Timer and Pulse Person) The woman with me was totally new to everything to do with the ride. Even though we were surrounded by mobs of horses all of the riders were understanding and we soon got everyone done. It was a great time. I know another friend and I who were timing at the last hold were getting giddy from being up since 3am (thanks Chariots of Fire,LOL). Every rider was very understanding of our mathematical inadequacies at that time. Maybe it helps that everyone was giddy...not just us. We had a great time as volunteers. Congratulations to all of the riders! WELL DONE!!!! Jean My GPS said 16 miles when we got to the stop and go at about 6:30, and we all came in in a pack (those poor in-timers, attacked by the mob of us). -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
