RE: [RC] [RC] SHAME ON AMY TRYON!!! - Juli JakubI have to agree here unfortunately. I was a high level eventer and I have had horses go lame under me during competition....not even that lame and I could always tell and I ALWAYS pulled up. I can tell when my horse just pulls a shoe never mind is head bobbing lame. It is shameful what happened. I cannot believe a rider at that level would not be able to tell and if she couldn't than in my opinion she should not be riding that level...the stakes are higher and it is all the more important to be aware of what is going on underneath you in the heat of the moment. That horse trusted her and he paid with his life for it. And it is shameful that she was given so light a punisment...she should have been banned alot longer than two months! It makes me glad that I no longer compete in eventing or at that level. That is just my opinion however.
