Unless I am remembering wrong, neither Israel or Spain have the humidity common in parts of the USA. If endurance takes off in Indonesia, where it is very humid it will be interesting to watch their experience.

Climate wise - Israel and Spain are basically semi-arid to arid. When Indonesia or Malaysia get enough horses through their system it would be very interesting to see what happens. Their climates are classic tropical - basically islands surrounded by water - which provides a stable climate year round. It's much like what you see in the Caribbean. It gets up to the low 90's, but because of the proximity of water there is always a cooling breeze. That helps to keep you cool. I suspect that we can learn a lot from rides in the Northern Territory of Australia which should be similar - maybe a little less stable. The one time I was in Darwin, it was in Jan and it was quite hot but not near as humid as we get in FL in the summer or the arm pit of the world, a.k.a. St. Louis, MO ;-) in August which can get brutally hot, humid and no breeze.
