[RC] Appendix QH Needs Cooler, Low Humidity Home - Dawn CarrieHi Ridecampers,
A friend sent me the information below, which she got from the person with the horse. I don't know anything about this horse, so can't provide any more info. If you are interested, or know someone who might be, please contact her directly. Tomball, Texas, is about 45 minutes NW of Houston, for those of you needing a reference point. I hope someone can give him a cooler, drier home! He sounds like a gem. :)

Subject: AQH Appendix in need....
Hello Everyone,
My horse is in desperate need of a cooler/drier place to live. We recently moved here from Jacksonville, Fl and thought it was hot there, the humidity was not as bad. His name is JP and he is a Registered Chestnut, AQH Appendix gelding, 20 yrs old. Recently he had some serious health problems which were a result of the heat/humidity. He aslo has COPD and is a non-sweater, these problems are exaserbated by the heat/humidity. So, I am looking for a new home for him.
During the cooler, less humid months he is a different horse. He is trained in Dressage, Western, and trail. He has a great personality and would be perfect as a therapy horse or for a young/beginner rider. BUT, it needs to be in a cooler/drier environment, hence, my email. If you know anyone "up north" (New Mexico, Colorado, N. Texas, etc) that would be willing to adopt him PLEASE give them my contact information. I am willing to give him away to make him more comforable and inprove his quality of life. Thanks for taking the time to read this email. Sincerely, Lisa Webb
