[RC] Skinny mare - Rae Callaway

I'm looking for some advice for one of my mares. She is 22 and has a 10+ week
old HUGE colt. The mare is starting to look like she needs rescueing, she's
sooo skinny. This colt seems to be sucking the life out of her. She gets 6lbs
of a 16% mare and foal feed from Dumont (Tractor Supply Company brand) twice a
day plus about 4-6 lbs of an alfalfa/brome mix hay twice a day. My other mare
is getting fat on this, as is her 7 week old foal, but Amy seems to be wasting
away. We've got 6 more weeks before we can wean - is there anything more I can
do for Amy? A lunch feeding would be difficult as I work in downtown Houston
and live way out in the suburbs, but I could do it on weekends.
