RE: [RC] Question about Arab racing - Kristen A FisherThe AHA mag has included a great number of articles regarding Arab racing in the past year or so; I think it's a small % of what people do with their horses but they have great marketing packages set up to get people involved. The money is good for what you put in, and I don't think they have a glut of after-mkt horses like the TBs do [of course 7K reg Arabs vs 37K reg TBs per year]. They race Arabs at the CA tracks Ranelle mentioned, as well as Retama, Sam Houston and Lone Star Parks here in TX, and they also race up in Delaware, Colorado, and Michigan as well.
