Re: [RC] Why I Keep on Riding - rides2farFor my Tevis trip this year, I have decided to give up collecting original DaVinci paintings and sculptures. Guess we will just have to stick with Rembrandts for another year:)The reason I keep on riding is because it more fun than not riding.Instead of finding excuses on why we shouldn't go, I spend my energy on finding ways to go. Paul, you absolutely *got it* and I'm very proud of you for embracing my principles. And to all you ridecampers. I know everybody was terribly impressed by the fact that Paul did OD cavalry...but having been there...I was FAR more impressed that he did the 30 on Friday in absolutely OPPRESSIVE heat...where only what...2 out of 45 finished in time...was overtime but finished...THEN signed up to do the 100 cavalry after having previously been entered in the 50. To me the cavalry thing was nothing compared to elevating after having done Friday. He's plenty dumb enough to do Tevis. :-)) Angie =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
