And that's why I was confused later
when the volunteer came and asked if I was pulling. I did think he had pulled
me. Oh, well...no harm, no foul.

Thanks, that does clarify it. In other words, he was pulling your
horse. I suspect, though, that the proper code might have been SF, since
he gave her a B+ on gait.

Sorry, I wasn't more clear.
When mom was going through her check I did have my mare with me. When he was
done with mom he asked about my mare and that is when I told him we were
quitting. So he did actually see my mare. And what he actually said the
first time was "you CAN come back for a recheck if you
want."
