I just received a new book today called “Equine
Podiatry”. It is written by Andrea Floyd and Richard
Mansmann. The first 1/3 of the book is an in depth of hoof anatomy.
The last 1/5 of the book deals with practical application of shoeing/trimming
and how to create a “hoof care team”. The middle parts deal
with all sorts of pathologies including a huge section dedicated to
laminitis.
It’s the most thorough, well illustrated anatomy book
I’ve seen yet (and my hoof/distal limb library is pretty huge).
