Then you move up to completing without regard to where you finish. Then?and only then?.do you increase your speed to a pace that is ?comfortable for that horse on that day on that trail?. If you allow the horse to make decisions, then he will continue to do so. In the words of Pat Parelli, ?Horse are experts in figuring out what comes after what comes after?.
