RE: [RC] [RC] renegade boots - Ranelle RubinAlice, I did see a pair on a horse at a ride, and the guy said he really likes them. I like the way they fit from looking at them, but the toes on the back feet were worn through and I could see the hoof. When I asked the guy how many miles he had on them, all he said was "lots".. It seems like the guy who invented them wants to be sure people are using them properly, on properly trimmed and fitted hooves which explains why you have to get them from a barefoot trimmer. The other explanation is that he wants to help support the efforts of the fully educated barefoot trimmers? Either way, it is his perogative to distribute them in the way he sees fit IMO.. I have a friend who has hired a trimmer to come out and trim her horses specifically so she can buy the boots.
