I have been told that it used to be a pretty nice thing with geldings, but that it has changed..need to do some more research to be sure. But, not all Sweepstakes nominated horses are from show or race barns. My gelding is, and he is from a strictly endurance barn, Misty Mountain Farms in Tehachapi, CA.
