Mary I think you hit the nail on the head. In endurance - especially the 
OD - you pays your nickel you takes your chances! One year it is 82 and 
low humidity - next it is 97 and 80%! Damn wish I was here last year - 
but I wasn't. That's the nature of June in Virginia. One year at a 
Memorial Day weekend tennis tournament in Charlottesville I was carried 
off the court in sever dehydration - the next year I had to play half 
the match in my sweats. Welcome to Virginia in June.

Every one gave it their best shot. There is always next year.
