RE: [RC] [RC] Freeform saddle pads ? - Ranelle RubinKyle,I suggest you contact Candace Kahn or Chris Martin for specific clarification, but it is my understanding the HAF pad's open cell foam core is designed to offer the proper amount of support under the saddle, as well as provide the relief necessary for the saddle to remain out of contact with the horse's spine. I have two Freeform saddles for my horses, and feel a wool pad would not work quite as well. You can order a HAF pad with a wool lining if it is the wool against the horse you desire.
