RE: [RC] [RC] competing in hot humid conditions - Ranelle RubinMarta,E-lytes-I prefer DynaSpark myself..small doses all day with pre-loading for two to three days in advance depending on expected weather/distance/speed intended Lots of water, but wipe it off (use the edge of your hand like a sweat scraper or use your scoop) and reapply-cool water is great I have seen people use rubbing alcohol as a brace to help evaporative cooling Good luck..you are in the right place and asking good questions..just listen to your horse..and train for the type of riding you will be doing..if you are planning to ride in heat and humidity, you better be willing to do it at home..!
