Re: [RC] OLD DOMINION!! - rides2farKnow there is no better place,> on earth, than on the back of your trusted equine! Take care of each other! Actually...I'll be riding Jody's equine...the one *she* calls "Dummy" and swears looks for stuff to trip on. However, I rode her in the Biltmore 100 and loved her...smooth, responsive, sane, never tripped once over a zillion roots even after dark. Josie rode her in a 50 and liked her just as much...I'm just hoping *my* version of Aries, not Jody's version of "Dummy" shows up for this ride! >g< P.S. Not sure I made it clear that the forecast has dropped to 90 or so. Wouldn't sound so great if they hadn't said 97 a few days ago. Now it sounds pretty darned good. Anybody else out there going to be riding? I really didn't study the trail like I should considering it's a tricky, unfamiliar, nonrepeated trail on a day when my brain will probably be somewhat impaired. Jody had the thing *so* memorized I just figured I'd just take a nap on my herdbound mare and get there when they did. Then it occurred to me...what if she got pulled???? :-O Guess I'll study it a bit on the way up.
